A Wonderful Children’s Day!

Wow! What a lovely children’s day. I had so much fun! First, when I woke up, I forced everybody to start bathing, brushing and getting ready because it was children’s day!

I finally arrived at 7:45 a.m in the morning dressed in black leggings and a white top with a black hairband. When I entered my class, all my friends had started talking and having fun while waiting for them to ring the loud bell. Finally, Mr. Linus rang the bell and we all rushed for assembly so we would not be late. This was the best assembly of my life! Immediately after our prayers, national anthem, school creed and song, the party had started. The talent show took place and I was involved in playing the violin while my eldest sister sang Over the Rainbow and we came second to some gymnasts who presented a wonderful display.

After that, we went to our classes and we started the fun. The best part was that we didn’t have any work to do that day. Later on, we ate a lot of pizza, donuts, Popcorn and ice cream and meat pie. I really enjoyed this years’ children’s day and I hope to have a better one next year!!!!!!!
